I think mindful walking will be the main technique that I take forward on a regular/everyday basis. I think that the act of concentrating on walking and that body in movement was an easy way of practicing mindfulness without the feeling of wasted time that I have noticed while practicing sitting meditation. Instead now I walk to a destination and complete my mindfulness in one!
I also can see the benefit of informal mindful conversation in terms of generating understanding of others and practicing attention strength.
The act of meditation itself is still feeling like a chore at the moment. I have come to recognise the potential benefits of the act, however, and will be interested to see how it effects my everyday life.
