Pleasure, Passion and Purpose
Happiness can be divided into 3 core categories - pleasure, passion and higher purpose. When examining your actions and categorising them into one of these three groups in terms of their goal for your personal happiness it is possible to recognise that one is always acting towards a higher purpose, hopefully engaging in activities that they are passionate about and having moments of pleasure which are interspersed within menial tasks. When thinking about ones day to day activities it is possible to recognise when a task is not benefiting the performer and therefore reassess the action entirely. To become constantly happy one must focus on engaging in activities which help to achieve a higher purpose, focussing less on pleasure and passions. It is, it seems, most beneficial to works slowly at a goal of higher purpose and engaging in a lesser level of pleasurable and passionate acts to reach the end goal quickly while maintaining motivation through happiness.

Resilience Ideas and Meditation
The resilience exercise was an interesting experience as it is relatively unusual for me to reflect on distant failures. I find that I am more of an optimist and thus forget most failures when looking forward. I'm not sure I found it particularly beneficial although I can see that it might be so for a more pesemistic person. I have had many experiences that I would call failures but see them more as things to build on rather than just outright failures. I feel this form of reflection is less beneficial than others that I have experienced previously.
